The one-day tour arranged by the hotel is extremely hassle-free. The Chinese driver-cum-guide knows the ropes well and switches smoothly between Chinese, English and Thai. He took us to a local market to taste fresh delicacies. The itinerary is relaxed; when we get tired, we just stop for a break.

In the early morning, you can pick up seashells when there are few people around; in the evening, watch the sunset dye the sea surface a honey color. The swimming pool is just downstairs, as blue as a translucent jade, and the adjacent bar fills the air with jazz.

The room is a delight at first sight. Upon opening the door, a Just right coolness greets you. The pure white bedding is neatly arranged, and the floor-to-ceiling windows let the sunlight stream in. There's a rattan chair on the balcony; sitting there, you can catch a glimpse of a corner of the sea.
